Some FAQ's:
Will you work on a site that you do not host?
Generally, no. If you have a site redesign only in mind, please let us know what you need, and we may be able to help. Normally, we like to host everything we work on for three reasons: Firstly, it allows us enough control to make sure our customers sites are secure, backed up, and perform like they should. Secondly, the hours spent on design and support are really paid for by our hosting fees. Hosting is relatively cheap these days... Thirdly, as a JShop Server developer license holder, it allows us to protect access to that application source code.
Can I upgrade from one plan/package to another?
Yes. A "Basic" website package can be upgraded to "Enhanced" for the difference in price between the installation of each. The same is true of our E-Commerce packages. Hosting costs would then increase to the corresponding cost beginning at your next billing cycle if you are paying monthly. If you have paid for 12 to 24 months of hosting, a bill for the pro-rated difference will be issued.
Can I use more than one domain name in connection to my website?
Sure. The second or third domain name can point at the same webspace, or you can use subdomains to point at your blog, forum, gallery or other pages within the webspace. A second domain which points at an entirely different webspace would require another account.
Will you skin my blog and storefront and other pages so that they all match?
That's another yes, within some limited variance. What I mean by that is that porting one design to work perfectly with three different software applications can be done, but to make it look exactly the same in all browsers is sometimes impractical.
What if I don't see the needed service or package listed?
Again, let us know what you need. A number of our clients are running packages which are not listed here in our store. Examples are accounts just for private business forums, family gallery accounts, one page sites which are rarely updated and need no support, backup space for personal or business files, etc...
If I decide to leave can I take my website with me?
We will make your content available, and download your database(s) to a csv or xls file. If you decide to rent a hosting account with a compatible control panel we can also assist in migrating entire accounts - other than hosted e-commerce accounts.
Here is a specific example: Say your account is Joomla driven. You may open an account and install Joomla elsewhere, we will then deliver a complete backup of the existing database, along with the template files.
Storefront example: We will move your pictures and graphics to your desired location, and make a download of the DB available to you. If you are a JShop Server license holder, we will migrate the entire installation for a nominal fee.
